Breast Ultrasound Screenings in a population-based approach, aim at identifying disease in people who are seemingly healthy, as well as to educate and create awareness. Breast ultrasound screenings offer the benefit of Early Detection, potentially identifying breast abnormalities at a stage where treatment options are more effective and less invasive. Breast Ultrasound Screenings use ultrasound technology to screen both breasts, and the axilla area (under the arm). 

Diagnostic Breast Ultrasounds are used to establish the presence or nature of disease and to distinguish from other possible health conditions. A Diagnostic Breast Ultrasound is a targeted exam that focuses on further evaluation of breast abnormalities detected through a mammogram, physical exam, or a Breast Ultrasound Screening.
